While playing fsx with pretty much maxed everything, a wilco A330-200, and a miami payware.

I will be at 34-40 FPS, and running fine and out of no where it will crash and give me a error saying i have ran out of memory and to lower my graphic settings. I don't see how i am running out of memory i am running a Gtx 560 2Gig in sli (i know fsx won't use my second 2 gig card but still). I also have 8 gigs of ram, which should no where near be maxing with only those addons.

Do you have a 32 bit or 64 bit system? Are the drivers on your graphic's card up to date?

i have a 64 bit system, and i will take a look at those links

(all 8 gigs of ram are showing, and i have personally seen me using more then 5 so it know its not that

Louis, does your memory usage gradually go up? I know of a memory leak in Ultimate Terrain which gave me the same error after an hour of two of flying.

I have not taken a look, but that was my first thought that it was not cycling. I am using windows ultimate :s.

Run a memory diagnostic check to make sure that there is no problem with them !

I have loaded them up to 5+ gigs and they run fine in other programs....i don't understand how fsx would bring it down using much less

From the event viewer copy and paste the error .......otherwise is very unlikely that we find a solution!

I had that same error come up on me only in FS2004, as it turned out I had just changed some parking assignment in three of my AI aircraft and it was written wrong, every time FS tried assigning the aircraft as they loaded in the program it would crash giving me this memory error. after I fixed the language everything was fine. hope this helps.

Im also experiencing OOM issues, specially when flying into KLAX (FSDT Scenery, Aerosoft Los Angeles Scenery, UT2 and PMDG777). Always on final approach.

I tried the fix, and got the message that it had been fixed. restarted my system, all ok. But how do I know its really changed?

Any other thoughts (Besides uninstalling Los Angeles city, boy that's a big file!)

So I guess we have to check, uncheck scenery prior to flying?

No wonder why PMDG 777x, LA city, FSDT LAX, REX textures, UT2, UTX USA, Scenery TECH was causing OOM messages when approaching KLAX after a 12hr flight from Paris, with the same add ons departing there...

FYI. hope this works for DB.

I did almost the same route. This time, EGLL KLAX.

I Uninstalled LA city (By aerosoft) and unticked EGKK and surrounding UK2000 sceneries out of EGLL. Did the same flying time, same REX textures, same 777 Texture and same UT2 amount.

Result, No OOM messages. the VAS totals ended up around 3.4GB when shutting down in LA.
