After reformating my computer, I had to re-install FSX. Whenever I try to open it, FSX takes longer than normal to load, and then when I click "Change Aircraft" it freezes and crashes. Any suggestions? banghead

If you're on windows 7, search your computer for 'event viewer'. Open it, Click 'Windows Logs', double click 'Application', Then look for where it has a red '(!) Error', click that. Should say something like 'Faulting application' below. Copy and paste that entire message into this post.

Vista & Windows 7: Run everything as admin ...not everything needs it but it doesn't hurt either. Also, if you right click on your shortcut and select "Properties" you can make it so it'll run as Admin automatically every time with out having to right click.
