I recently deleted the default F-18 in my FSX and I can't find my back-up. now all the sludge F-18's and other add-ons wont load when I select them as my aircraft. I think what I need is the complete FSX default folder, I have searched the web but no joy. Does any one have any idea of where I can get all the contents of the F-18 default folder or where I can download the entire default A/C or better yet, an easier fix?

If you don't have the original discs then the only way to get back to default is to buy them all over again

MS is very protective of copyrighted material. Like Michael said, you'll have to get it from the disks.

I do have all the discs, would I have to uninstall and reinstall FSX acceleration or can I copy a folder from within the acceleration disc. I have looked at the folders inside the disc but not sure which one contains the F-18

It should offer you the option to repair your installation, if you put the disk in.

James, thanks for the response. I did put the disk in and it did offer me the option to repair which I did but did not fix the problem. I really don't want to unistall and reinstall becuase I had such a hard time getting it to activate. I'll keep searching the web to see if there are any FA 18 V/c's that would work with Capt Sim or Sludge FA-18. I might have to purchase the VRS FA-18 Superbug and get rid of all the others models.
