Hey guys,
I was taxing on the fleets 777 and could not make out as to what is the right speed, I know I can't go over 30 knots on a straight line, but which indicator is telling the truth???
Thanks
Have a good day!!

You have two saying 10 knts. You have a wind gauge saying 0201015, and a grounds speed of 2 knts. I'd say you have a head wind component of 8 knts. You look like you are faced South. The cosine of 30 degrees times 15 knts sounds (headwind component) like all is consistent.

they're all telling the truth, they're just telling you different values. the 10 at the top shows your indicated speed. that's one way to show how fast you're moving through the air, or how fast air is flowing over the wings. your ground speed is 2, which is how fast you're moving over the ground. they're showing the right thing, they just mean different things

For the purposes of taxiing, use the ground speed value.
