Can I use the CLS DC-10 for my MD-11 checkride?

The DC-10 isn't the same as the MD-11 so therefore, you can't use the DC-10. You have to Use the MD-11. I suggest you get the PMDG MD-11, great plane very realistic.

Also any checkride related issues/questions are to be send directly to the Cheif Pilot or one of the ACPs of the program. So no talk about Checkrides in public forums such as the cooler and ACARS chat

I'm curious why we do not discuss check rides in the forum. I was a CFI in Nashville for a number of years and you can bet when a student came back from riding with the FAA we discussed the ride and shared the knowledge with the other students. It was a valuble part of the learning experience. I am not trying to start a debate I am just asking, particularly since the forum is a lplace for learning.

it is because there is too much misinformation that gets thrown around. Better to have the pilot taking the check ride go directly to the assistant chief or chief pilot for help rather than getting bad or incomplete info from another member.
