New memeber here to DVA. I downloaded the MD-88 installer package and followed the instructions, loaded for FSX. Went to open FSX and selected the new installed aircraft. FSX loaded all the programs it does when a new aircraft is installed. Went through loadingn the scenery files and textures, updated aircraft, went to 100% loading complete and stops there. FSX worked fine prior to installing the DVA MD-88, what files could have corrupted my installation of FSX

Try running FSX as ADMIN .... right click on the shortcut, select "Run as Administrator"

Started working after I did a reboot to the computer. Something must have hung up during install. I have Norton and never know when it is going to affect my downloads. I usually shut it down when loading my flight sim stuff. Any ways thanks for the advice, all is working now and I can get one with doing my first flight.

yep, I was gonna say "run as admin" as well. I had the same problem James....ever since all fleet installs have worked beautifully!
