How in the world do you install TSS sounds into the level D 767 without loosing the vital sounds like the GPWS?? I've been trying for hours to get the GE sounds to work with the cockpit sounds.

Curiosity: why do you want to install TSS sounds? The sounds that come with the Level-D are actually real ones.

That being said, I remember reading something about this on the Level-D forums. Might be worth checking there.

Well, have you heard the engine roar outside the plane? I just think it's over exaggerated and to me it doesn't sound like it's coming from the plane but from next to my ear >_<.
It floods my sound and I can barely hear the jet whine. Only from inside. But that's my opinion. I can be a realism nut. I'll check the Level D forums.

The engine sound depends on where you are outside. If you're in front of the engines, you'll hear them differently than if you were behind them.

must be a pereference thing but I am also with David on this one, I've never enjoyed the sounds on the Lvl-D from the outside views. I remember I did install a sound package long time ago and it sounded pretty good, but then I change system and never installed the sound pacakge again as I can't remember were I got it from.

Have you ever tried the TSS sounds for the Level-D? They add a whole lot! the Level-D default sounds are now where close to what you get with TSS

David, I don't remember having that problem when i was using it, have you followed the instructions for installations that was provided by TSS?

TSS sounds are absolutely miles ahead of Level-D sounds... I personally find the default sounds really poor!

I've been using the fs 2004 sound-pack the whole time for FSX. Turns out there is no 767 sounds pack for FSX just yet, but TSS are in the works for the Pratt & Whitneys for the 767 as seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6udL24RHA8

I bought the TSS sound files, and feel that I wasted my money. Flap sounds, etc - the detract greatly from authentic sounds. They've all been deleted. Just my opinion, but at least that's based on experience. wink
