New guy here. I joined DVA a couple of weeks ago and even though I've just had a single flight I'm getting into reading the threads and am enjoying using the site. (It's got me motivated to fly more) As a newbie I need instruction with regard to ACARS. How do I carry out an ACARS flight and where do I start? If there's more information than can be put in a thread can someone send me a link to where any and all questions about conducting an ACARS flight is? I checked the DVA site and haven't found anything. If I'm missing a part of the site that covers this can some one direct me to it?

Have you looked at the ACARS manual? It's a little out of date but a good start.

Cheers!

Just checked it out. Looks like I have my answers. Don't know why I didn't check the docs before posting. As one H. Simpson so eloquently puts it...... DOH!

Welcome Larry, As Jason says there is an amazing amount of information about DVA and simming in general in the DVA document library and I have found numerous answers to my questions by using the search utility here in the Water Cooler. If you have a question, chances are that someone else has already asked it. You can also just drop someone an email, most people will answer if they have time and know the answer. Again, welcome aboard.

Looks like an answered question, but welcome to DVA! I think you'll find it very rewarding to fly for this company.
