Fellow Pilots,
I am having some setbacks with the route plotter and ATC clearance. This is recent, say about a week ago or so. When i plot my route using the DVA route plotter and download it(btw FSX version is selected) FSX ATC does not allow me to request IFR clearance until i am airborne. Is anybody having the same issue?

Radar Contact is OLD but very effective at "realistic" ATC. There are others out there, I can't recall them though.

Cheers!!

Whenever I am not online I use Radar Contact. It is relatively easy to use, but provides realistic ATC from startup to shutdown.

before you go spending money listen to my 2 cents. as someone who has it, but finds it way to Un-Realistic to use. i used it all the time for years, until i started flying IRL, on Vatsim, and listening to Live ATC. i gave it a fair chance a few months ago, but it blew it. i no longer ue it. in my experince ive found Default ATC to be the best. you just have to know how to use it. a few tricks and some edit voicepack mods and it works well.

the issue you are having happense from time to time. i belive its something to do with the PLN files of the flight plan itself. however its happened to me useing the default flight planner. not shure intierly what causes it. however its only happened to me one time since i started useing FSX (when it came out). and the time it did, on my next flight everything worked. it may just be one of thoues thing. however if its happening on every flight. try running a flight without useing any addons. use the default planner and depart the same airport you did on the offending flight. i think the issue is something with the PLN file. i know DVA route plotter dosent exactly write the files correctly for FSX.

well i can kinda confirm its dephinitly the route plotter. not to long ago i did a flight useing the route plotter to generate the flightplan, and i could not get a IFR clerance on the ground.

the DVA plotter uses the old format for PLN files that was used on FS9. however there was changes in the way the file is written bettween the FSX and FS9 vertions.
