I notice a lot of the real world Delta flight numbers have changed, eg DAL951 used to be B763 from KJFK - KATL but this has now changed to DAL1643, I've come across several others recently that have altered aswell, why does Delta alter the flight numbers?

Also is there a way that I could help with this in updating so that the DVA schedule reflects the correct flight number, usually through flightaware.com you can work out what the new flight number is, I'd like to get involved in other aspects of DVA such as updates to flight numbers?

no they just change them all the time but not every flight changes sometimes it will take a few months. I use to work ramp for delta and it seemed almost every month or every other month there would be a new flight number or they would change equipment but like I said the flight numbers change all the time
