Hello all,

I noticed that the Avro RJ85 has appeared in the list of selectable equipment in ACARS. Does this mean it is now officially recognized as an equipment type we can use here at DVA? Which program would we need to request additional ratings in for it to be added to a pilot profile? Does this also mean the Avro RJ70 is right around the corner too (from the BEX/Delta Connection days)?

Perhaps I just missed the announcement.

Thanks. I look forward to being able to log some Mesaba Avro flights!

Kyle, The RJ85 variant of the BAe-146 is being allowed to be flown. No other variant is allowed, ie RJ70,RJ100. It comes with the CRJ-200 stage A/C

Hmm...interesting. Guess I'll just keep being patient to someday fly this guy under the DVA banner http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Business_Express_Airlines_Avro_RJ70_JetPix.jpg

Thanks.
