Hi all, I've been grounded a few weeks after my old dell died, but just got my new one and It performs great!!! I also finally upgraded to FSX and got the gold edition and the graphics are excellent! I read up on the common issues windows 8/FSX love hate relationship, but I went ahead and started fsx at a random gate and connected to vatsim via squawkbox 4 externally and tuned into DC CTR who was on this evening. I couldn't seem to get a positive radio check even though it showed tx receiving. I also was unable to see the msgs from ATC to other aircraft including mine on my screen as well. I ended the test flight and read on further which advised to use a program called "always on top". I cannot seem to find a good link to download this program and do you know if by using this, it will once again show me msgs across the top of my screen while flying so I don't miss pertinent info. Has anyone else ran into these issues and has the "always on top program resolved? Any advice or assistance is greatly appreciated and I look forward to flying soon!!!
