Those should work. I'm running the same mobo but have a i5-2500k instead. I OC'd it to 4.5Ghz and it handles anything I throw at it (NGX, REX, ORBX, FSDT, and the list goes on and on) I would suggest having 8GB RAM. Yes, FSX can only use 4 but that leaves another 4 open for windows and other programs.

thanks kyle i forgot to mention i had just bought a radeon 7750 2g ddr3 for my previus rig but i was kind of messing with clocks and now it wont power up just for a split second then shuts down again. i think this card will be okay would you think?

I'm assuming you were messing around with the clocks on the GPU? If you were if you fried anything unfortunately it would most likely be that video card as opposed to your other components. The easiest way to test this would be to drop it in another working system and see if it works properly, if not you would just need to replace it.
