Today I started as usual FSX for a flight from FCO, then I've opened ACARS and started the flight.
Then I've contacted for ILS confirmation with ATC, all OK, confirmed and then every comunication on ATC stopped, no choices on my side, no button to press.
I've tried two or three times ... no way.
Can you help me?
Thanks

Honestly, you're better off vectoring yourself instead of using the FSX ATC.

Well, do you have a valid flight plan loaded (and where are you getting the route from)?
Did you do the readback and acknowledge IFR clearance?
What happens if you manually tune your radios?
Is it just IFR or does it happen with VFR?
What happens if you reload the flight plan?

I have a valid plan created in Deltava
I have made the first readback; after communication broken
Nothing happens tuning manually radio
Happen in both way
Reloading the plan it's exactly the same

Did you try restarting FSX? Sometimes the FSX ATC just "dies" for no reason.

you got the flight plan from the DVA route plotter?
if so there may in lie the problem.
The route plotter used the old PLN file formatt from FSX. althoue it does work in FSX its not without issues. the most common problem is not being able to depart IFR, you have to be in the air to get clerance. your issues is one ive never heard of or experienced.
One other thing if your AI traffic is to high it can kill the ATC engine. even if your PC an handle alot of Traffic. the ATC engine can handle about 350 aircraft before it starts to struggle.

instead of creating your flight plan in DVA, just let fsx create the plan. I had it happen to me a few days ago while in flight. I just vectored myself to land at my destination and when the wheels hit the ATC finally told me to contact ground. Next time try taking off see if it changes, if not then just vector yourself maybe at some point the system will fix itself. Good luck!!!
