A quetion. I lost my acceleration DVD for FSX. Can I download SP1 and SP2 and it will all work fine? Or do I need to purchase another acceleration DVD?

Just received my new system and I found out today I didnt have the expantion.... :((((

While you can install the SPs, it won't be Acceleration.

The SP1 and 2 are service packs while Acceleration is an addon, so you will need another disc

Ok. And the gold edition of fsx. Do you know if it contains both the sim and the acceleration?

So, if I download SP1 and SP2, FSX is fully updated? Acceleration only has the missions and aircraft? or is it a must to run FSX updated?

Gold includes acceleration and both Service Packs are automatically built in. In fact, if you install gold & acceleration, you'll find that you can't install either SP afterwards - FSX will disallow it.

I just found the acceleration DVD frown

Ive already installed SP1 and SP2, and REX, GEX, FSGenesis, Scenery tech....etc....

Can I install Acceleration now? or will it screw up my FSX "instalation order"?

You should be able to install it. I did on my last build. It goofed up a few of my sceneries but nothing that couldn't be fixed.
