I'm having some issues with the FT ERJ FMS. I have AIRAC 1306 and I'm trying to figure out how to update it. (The letters are red in the NDB part.) I've uninstalled and re-installed several times but to no avail. Any ideas? I run Win7 Pro x64 bit.

For the AIRAC updates from Navigraph, all you do is run the executable program and it updates everything for you. There's nothing to update inside the FMC that I'm aware of.

Thanks for the reply! That is exactly what I was thinking. I ran the .exe file and it didn't update the FMS. The NDB version is still in red and says something like 28 Sept/oct 06 or something. Perhaps I'm pointing it to the wrong place but it seems like it should work since it's pointed to my FS9 directory.

I use FSX and the installation routine simply asks me for my FS version (choice of FS9 or FSX) and then the FSX installation directory. Normally this is buried under C:\program files (x86)\Microsoft games\blah blah blah directory but I have FSX installed in D:\FSX\ so that's what I point the Navigraph updater to.

Yep, mine says the same thing. I've ran the installer and have the directory correct and it says it installed. However, my FMS says Active NBD 28 Sep 25 Oct/06 and something like V.2.0 4M World 06-10...

If you're on Windows 7 or Vista, you might try running the installer as an administrator in the odd chance it's being denied the ability to update the files due to security. Right click the Navigraph update file and choose "Run as Administrator".

Hmmm.....I just tried that as well. I'm not sure why it will not update. I've got all of my directories correct. I'll have to keep fiddling with it some more tonight.

Jeremy, are you sure that you have downloaded the right update for your FMC? There are several versions of the database on Navigraph website maybe that version is not right for your aircraft. The exe runs but no results.

Good advice from Peter to verify the correct Navigraph update not only from the a/c perspective but from the AIRAC version as well.
What I'd do at this poing is:
1) Keep digging in support forums to see if you can find an answer
2) Use the Microsoft Sysinternals Procmon utility (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645) to see what files the installer is actually trying to touch and where.

Thanks for all the help and replies. This is why I fly with DVA. Nice folks willing to lend a hand! To make a long story short, I finally got it up and running great last night. It had something to do with my OS so I did a reformat and put Win7 32bit on and it works perfectly now. Now, I just have to figure out how to use the FMS a bit better. The A/C does fly very nice and the Speed control for climb works very nice. No more +4000 and -3000fpm pitching to hold the speed. I definitely might start investing more in payware. Especially the new CR7 and CR9 I keep hearing about.

Thankfully, it wasn't too far into it's rebuilt life. It was my flight sim PC and the original HDD went out. I finally got a new one around a week ago, so the reformat wasn't too bad. :-)

There is one for the 135 but it's in old Delta colors. It's available from McPhat as well.

Kind of a really late reply but I haven't been able to find a 135 repaint. I looked around McPhat and perhaps I am looking at the wrong set. It looks like the freeware part is shut down now too. Would love to have a Delta 135!

McPhat said on their Facebook page they are slowly bringing back the freeware section.

I looked on my HDD and I have 1 and 3. There's a repaint for the 145 and the 145XR in Delta liveries but no 135 for Delta.
