Whenever I load a flight up in ACARS (3) I can take off and everything is fine until about ten minutes into the flight fsx just freezes and acars is not responding so I'm not sure what is crashing what but if anyone knows how to fix this I would appreciate it!

I had this problem while using Active Sky and a couple other add ons. One thing I did was update my FSUIPC and make sure I right click and run Active Sky as admin every time. Even though it should run as admin on its own taking that extra step seems to have helped.

I don't have active sky so should I just be running FSX and ACARS as admin?

It's not really an error it just freezes but I got FS2004 running and it is running on maxed settings perfectly so I think I will stick with it instead anyway.

I had similar issues when flying not only on departure, but mid flight, using REX or another 3rd party program. I simplified it by only running FSX, and ACARS or other programs (The ones that can be ran) out of another pc.

Id say Ive had a 80-90% of succes on my flights. Much better than a CTD on every flight!...

It also could be the Vid Card problem. I have a GeForce GTX 660TI and I`ve downloaded the new Driver and sometimes gives a error and go blackout my FSX. So I had to go back the old driver.

I think it has something to do with acars, i tried 2.2 and it still crashed.
