I just purchased REX and I cannot figure out why it will not load real world weather into FSX. I select RW weather under the weather tab in REX, it loads, then i click FLY NOW, it autoloads FSX, but then its just the standard fair weather with no wind or anything. I've looked online and can't seem to find what I'm doing wrong, so if any of you could help, it would be greatly appreciated!

i have rex only for textures to preload into fs9 i also have Active sky evolution to download all real world weather syncing with fs9 and squauk box works perfectly !

How do you have your Weather set up within FSX?
I have REX but found the WX somewhat cumbersome and the wx updates a tad 'violent' with wind shifts etc.

I don't have it set up because supposedly when REX weather loads it automatically changes to User-defined, but I can't get it to do that.

Ahhh, what version of Windows? I recall something about something somewhere (Brillant statement there Tim) about 'Administrative rights' between REX and FSX. (I'm running Vista so it is weird that way)

As a beta tester for REX, I would suggest you go to the REX support forums to find your answer. They have excellent support. Keep in mind to post a question in the support forum you must get "Verified" by supplying your REX order number and where you purchased it, so they know you have a legal version of REX.
