I use dual monitors. When I try to undock the gps or radio stack and move it to the other monitor the contents of the gps is black, no image. Same for any other instrument I try to move. Not sure how to fix this, has not happened before. Any ideas?

I never use windows mode or very seldom. I usually put the radio stack and radios and pedestal on one screen. They are all black.

Jim, just the GPS for example. not the whole of FSX, but just the specific panel part you are trying to use.

exactly. I can move the GPS to the other monitor but when I do the "box" is there but nothing in it, all black.

i run fs9 across 5 monitors, run windowed, undock each view outside the main view, right click " undock" that will solve your black screen problems,
