After clicking the connect button on SQ4, this message will not go away.
It stays as I cycle through views, and it always appears right in the way. . . even if I move the FS9 window to almost nothing.
It also causes FS9 to go unresposive when trying to close FS9, even after disconnecting from VATSIM.

Other than the anticipated "go with FSINN," does anyone have any suggestions?

Is this a new issue for you or have you installed SB4 and this has happened all along? I thought SB4 was primarily meant for FSX. I realize some might get it to work with FS9 but I don't think that was the intent of SB4.

SB4 works just fine with FS9. I had this problem once. Once it gets to that point, you basically have to restart FS. The easiest way to avoid it is disable the automatic multiplayer session join, and join manually.

I used to have this issue, I would usually click end flight and then cancel and would go away.

I've had this issue before too. Usually if I closed Squawk Box and restarted it, it would go away. You shouldn't have to end the flight or close FS.

Problem solved.

USA-E server no longer likes me for some reason. It wasn't that the graphic would not go away, It was that I hadn't entered the lobby yet.

I changed the server, then connected almost immediately.
