So I installed FSInn to replace squawk box about a week now but I can't hear ATC nor can they hear me. On the VVL bar I have two green vertical bars but one blue horizontal bar stating "pending". I've been googling this issue and found all type of possible solution. I have windows firewall and MSE installed. I by-passed my router and tried opening these ports which seemed to solve this guy's problem http://forum.apollo3.com/showthread.php?t=287&page=2 but non worked for me. Disabled my firewall and still that blue bar keeps saying pending. Any suggestions?

go into your start menu,go to fsinn ui,the control panel will pop up,then click on the voice tab,close the control panel, start up flight sim,start up fsinn as usual and see if voice now works,also make sure to set a ptt key.

When you say voice tab do you mean the tab that says VVL? If so, when I close the control panel that tab also closes. PTT key all set

Tried it but doesn't work. I want to believe something's blocking it. I've disabled my firewall and antivirus which is MSE but still nothing....baffled

have you tried going into FSX options/settings/sound and checking voice USB device?

Yup that's checked out and verified already, also sound tested

Yes I do have that traffic light symbol in the taskbar
Cool....click on it and check if you have 2 green squares in COMM1, if you don't click on VOICE>VATSIM(make sure there is a check mark on enable vatsim voice on this computer and check that the rite microphone and headset are enable).
