Ok, lets lay this out here. Right now you are a captain in the 757-200 program. Right now you could request additional ratings in the 767, take the FO Exam and get the checkride. If you pass it then you will still be in the 757 program, but will have the ratings for the 767 and whatever comes with it. If you want to go higher and get the 777/747 ratings you must become a captain in a Stage 4 program (A330, DC861, L1011100). To do that you must switch into a Stage 4 program, which for you if you get the additional ratings in the 767 would be easy, just request a program/equipment transfer, no checkride will be needed or exam because you already got the rating. Once you are in the program you must complete the 10 legs to become eligible to take the captains exam. Take the exam, pass it and then you can request additional ratings or a transfer to the 77/747/MD11 programs. Once you get whatever ratings you want, you are free to switch back to any program you wish. You will not loose any ratings, flights, anything. However, if you want to become a captain in lets say the 777 you must switch back to the program and complete the required legs and exam.
So, basically if you want to get higher in the stages you are going to have to switch programs into a stage 4 to get the captain rating and then be eligible to get stage 5. Then you can move around to whatever you want, nothing higher than stage 5, once you get a rating in one of the aircraft in any stage you can take the CR/FO Exam without having to become captain.
Hope this helps!
