Hey guys,
Hopefully one of you will have an idea what my problem is.
The brakes on all my aircraft have gone mad. They are constantly engaged. I tracked the problem to my CH pedals. If I disable the toe brakes on the pedals the aircraft will roll freely. If the toe brakes are turned on (in the controls section of FS) they are constanly engaged in sim even if not applied.
One oddity is if I engage & then disengage the parking break the plane will start to roll a little before the phantom brakes kick in again.
The pedals calibrate just fine & the proper axis is setup so I haven't a clue what to do next. They were working this morning & now they aren't.
These pedals are rather old, 7-10yrs probably so maybe I just need a new set?
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

+1
Otherwise, create a small null zone for them.

I had the same issue Bob with my Saitek pedals. I tried reversing them ... no luck. I eventually just kept them as rudder control and kept the brakes on my yoke as a button I hold down. Not as realistic but less frustrating.

Thanks guys,
I will give FSUIPC a try this evening. Short term I am using Drews idea & mapped a button on yoke for breaks.

Hey Bob do you have the paid or non paid version of FSUIPC. If it is the paid version might need to calibrate the controls

Another thing is what I do since I have FSUIPC, delete all control in FSX as far as primary flight : yoke-pedals-spoilers-brakes-rudders. Sometimes when you are trying a freeware plane that has its own loader, they can sometime overwrite your FSX.CFG when they install.

Yes I have the paid version but to be completely transparent the only thing I use it for is to tame the weather transitions.
I like the idea of clearing the controls in FSX & just using FSUIPC for it.

I finally got around to doing this & now all my controls work perfectly. Thank you for the suggestion!
