Hey,

So I have been getting frusterated with the "Find a flight" search tool, because for instance, if I want a flight out of JFK, I get thousands of flights...and most of the time many of the same flights, but different times and whatnot....Or for instance, I want to fly to an airport from JFK that I have not been to and so I select "unvisited airports" but I have been to JFK so it wont let me search.

Is there a way for us to be able to search for a flight out of a particular airport, to another that we havent been too? For instance, instead of searching for destinations we havent flown to, how about Flights we havent flown...For Instance, lets say I have flown one flight to BOS, so automatically the system says ok, you have been there...but I want to fly every route that I havent flown to and from BOS..is there a way to search like that, or implement that?

Cheers!

For the first part of your question, you should be able to fly from an airport you have been to (entering it as the origin), to an unvisited airport by checking the "Only include unvisited Airports" button next to "arriving at".

If I read the second part of your question right, you're looking for city pairs that you haven't flown (e.g. you have flown to both JFK and BOS separately, but never JFK-BOS)? I would also like to see this option, as I like to focus on hubs and fly to all the cities that the hub services. For now, I've done it by using the "Browse Schedule" option and keeping a spreadsheet...

As Thomas suggested, your first paragraph is covered by using one or both "Unvisited Airports" checkboxes in the Find a Flight area. Removing the duplicates gets a little hairy because technically none of the returned flights are duplicates beyond the city pairs. They each have separate flight numbers and departure times. For instance, for 10 possible "duplicate" itineraries in a query, which is the lucky route that actually gets returned? The 8am? 10am? 12pm? 2pm? etc.

On your 2nd paragraph, submit a helpdesk ticket thoroughly explaining the feature request you have. That's where the "Unvisited Airports" checkboxes came from you see today - a feature request I (and maybe other pilots) submitted many months ago.

Any update on this? I'd love to see this option exist in Find A Flight...

No answers to the Help Desk ticket other than they know its something we want and its being thought about.
