I recently purchased the saitek pz35 rudder pedals brand new. They worked for the first few flights perfectly fine, then all the sudden, on one of my flights as I was pulling into the gate, my rudder got all weird and wouldn't let me control it..it was just stuck making me turn left and wouldn let me turn right. I have restarted my computer multiple times since then. If you click the start button, then click "devices and printers", you can see that the flight sim pedals are connected. Then if you right click on the pedals and click "show controller settings" or something like that, it shows you all the pedals axis(right and left toe brakes which are the x and y rotation and then the z rotation/slider which is the rudder). The z rotation indicator, should be at 50%, showing the pedals are centered..however they're not..they're at 0% as they would be if I was turning left..but if I press and hold my right toe brake, it will slowly creep up in percentage but as soon as I let off, it creeps back down to 0%. PLEASE help.
Thanks

Try re-calibrating, also did you install any drivers off a disk (asking because i do not own these pedals). How is your pedals assigned? Threw FS or FSUIPC. Try contacting Saitek for some additional help.

Yes I did try recalibrating. It did not even realize that I was pressing the pedal. And no it did not come with drivers and it says it does not need any drivers. Also i use FSX to program it, but the computer doesn't even realize that I'm doing the z rotation.

Its not necessarily FSX causing the problem i don't think... idk what is, but it won't even show that I'm pressing the pedal forward... like when i do a controller check in my "devices & printers"

It's in the settings somewhere. It's been too long since I last flew so I can't tell you exactly where.
When I first got my pedals, I had to increase the null zone a little to get them to function properly.

Okay. I'll look into it. I just don't understand why they worked perfectly fine and now all of the sudden they aren't.

Nicholas, go to the Saitek website and download the most current driver for your rudder pedals and operating system (yes they do have drivers for most all their products.) Run the driver install with your rudder pedals unplugged. The software program will ask you to plug them in at some point. Then, as part of the install, it will take you to the calibration settings. If this doesn't work, you may have a pinched or disconnected wire at the location on the rudder pedals where the USB cable exits the base of the pedals. Try pushing in on the wire a bit or slightly wiggling it. I've got the Saitek rudder pedals and when I first had them they did something similar. Null zones will not fix your problem as it's probably, unfortunately, a hardware issue.

I would try SPAD and Sean recommended above. Saitek's drivers sometimes are not the best with addon aircraft.
