Ok, Saturday morning Brain-Up-and-Locked moment...

When signing up for today's LGA/ORD on-line event the "Release" button showed next to my name on the event roster.

Is the "Release" Button used to request a release (Operations Release/acceptance/get a flight number) to participate in the event?

-or-

Is it to be 'Released" (drop-out) of participating in the event?
