Hi all, I'm pretty sure this is specific to the DVA DC-8. I tried to program the fuel valves on the throttle quadrant so that when I pressed the appropriate button under each throttle on the Saitek throttle quadrants, the fuel valve would toggle open or close.
I have been unsuccessful so far. It worked on the default B747 aircraft but not on the DC-8. So I went into FSUIPC and started logging all of the buttons and key presses and found out that when the DC-8 fuel valves are in the off or closed postion and you click on the fuel valve with the mouse, NO KEY PRESS IS RECORDED on the log file! However, if the fuel valve is already in the ON position and you click on the fuel valve with the mouse to shut off the fuel, the MIXTURE1_LEAN is logged as occuring.
With the default B747, if the fuel valve is off and you click it on, the MIXTURE1_RICH is logged and when you shut it off, the MIXTURE1_LEAN is logged.
Any ideas?
