Hey everyone,
Don't know how many of you all have PFPX, but in their latest build (1.16), they have added a new feature that allows VAs to inject their flight schedules right into PFPX. Seems like a pretty useful feature. Do we have anyone looking into this for DVA?

I used FSC and it was really good, but the PFPX actually takes my weather from Active Sky Next, uses the PMDG profile I have in there and sets up the flight seamlessley. Since PMDG is also very compatible, When I save the flight plan, I can import winds aloft and it is very accurate. What I am saying is the PFPX is so feature rich, it was worth every penny and makes overseas flight planning a snap.

Thanks for the link!
The template works fine, although I honestly prefer the default template based on the information it provides.
I am still wondering about the actual SCHEDULE .xml file and if there is still an effort being made to make that available to import in PFPX. It would be SOOO cool to be able to pick DVA flights from within the database as opposed to entering all the info by hand each flight.
Not to nag, but any updates on this process?

Luke, you shouldn't need the aircraft type as we allow you to fly anything that will work on the route. Not sure about the times tho..... On PFPX, you can select any aircraft you have set up to use on a flight.

I'm pretty sure getting the correct aircraft types for any practical purpose would require some significant maintenance to each of our PFPX aircraft databases anyway. Since we choose what planes we want to fly (presumably) based on what we already have in our databases, I feel like it wouldn't be worth the hassle.
I also personally don't care too much about the scheduled departure/arrival times, but that's just me...

I'm not at home right now but I'm pretty sure they use "STD, "ETD," "STA," and "ETA" for scheduled/estimated time of departure/arrival. Is that what you are asking or is the "field name" a different (presumably more conplicated) thing?

Hello everyone,
I am hoping someone can help me. I have PFPX and cannot get the schedule to work correctly when imported. When I import the XML file into PFPX, I only get the scheduled flights for the current day and then 7 days later. I have tried to play with my PFPX filter to displays days in between, but I haven't been successful so far. What am I doing wrong?

Nothing. The schedule is updated daily so every day of the week, the schedule changes (although the overall database is outdated). Not all flights occur on every day of the week in the active schedules. All the historical schedule flights do occur every day of the week.

We cannot find the URL that you were looking for. Perhaps you were thinking of something else, or some other virtual airline?
Trying to download the file also fails and cannot do anything with it in PFPX?

Steve - Have you tried downloading the file from your Pilot Center? In the Flight Schedule section there is a PFPX Schedule link. Try that one.
