Another quick question... I am currently captain of the a330. I love the airbus and would love to fly an even larger one, but delta doesnt fly anything larger (in airbus), but I've heard that as a DVA pilot, I can still operate under Air France (sister airline) who does indeed fly the A380.. Has anyone done this or familiar how to do this?

If you take look at the Pilot Manual page 15, it will tell you that when you get either of 777 or 747 rating, you will also get the A380 as a secondary rating. We have some of the Air France route, but we do not restrict on what type of aircraft you can and cannot fly for whatever airlines. As long as the aircraft has range for it, you are set.
You cannot fly for both side of the airline at the same time. Either DVA/AFVA, your choice. If you want to fully transfer to AFVA, all you have to do is to submit the help desk for the transfer.

To get your Concorde rating. you first need to be capt in any of three stage 5 aircraft. After you become capt, then you can request the CR via Help Desk.

Okay! So... I received my 777 rating, but stayed in the A330 program just cause I am already captain of that plane and like it alot.. Since I received my 777 rating however, I also received my A380 rating. I earned my 777 rating because I wanted to be able to fly the A380. I cant get switched to being a First Officer of an A380 correct? I can fly it and submit PIREPS, but cant actually work my way up to Captain in it?

I guess what Im trying to say in shorter terms is that there is no A380 stage 5 program with DVA correct? I am allowed to fly it, but cant be in the actual "program" because there isnt one? So if I want to get rated in the concorde as well, I will need to fly the 777 enough to become captain and then I will have all the ratings I would like and can fly whatever then?

You are correct, there is no A380 program in DVA as RW Delta Air Lines does not fly em.
For you to get rated to be Concorde pilot, you need to log 10 flights more than 150 nm. But make sure you've transferred to 777 program first. If you are doing a flight with the A330 program, you will not get the 777 flight counted towards your promotion.
If I understand you correctly... yes as long as you are rated to fly aircraft here at DVA, you are free to fly whatever plane you please.

If you actually want an A380 program where you are a First Officer going into a captain, switch over to AFVA.

Good evening Nicholas,
Flights that count towards promotion must be equal to or greater than 150nm as stated in the Pilot Manual on page 35.
It's important to note that no matter what flight planner you use, whether its the company's internal one or a 3rd party program, that route distances may change. If you import a route that displays as 150nm or roundabout but you are using an old AIRAC or the program is, the distance may vary. Also, any enroute deviation, IE if ATC clears you direct to a VOR as opposed to a pre-plotted route to said VOR, all can have a different mileage tally. I'd plot a route that was around 200nm to be safe, but that's just my two cents!

150nm is 173sm, do not get those confused.
