I think we should create a scenery library for updates to airport scenery. I am still using the default FSX scenery and have severely outdated airports like ATL, CVG, SEA. I don't feel like shelling out money for payware or even downloading graphic hogging freeware items. I would just like to have a basic airport update, like runways, taxiways and terminal buildings.

Creating an "airport library" would require permissions from each AFCAD author which is a huge undertaking. Great idea but I think we'll let the other free sites carry the burden of hosting these files for now. Try also simviation.

While I did indulge in two payware sceneries, I realised that my global flying gets me there rather rarely, so I prefer either a good freeware addon for airports I go to more often or, like in the case of China and their mad building of airports, adding them in bulk like with the 275 airports of China addon...
