Hey guys just got a new desktop with windows 8.1. looking to fly FSX but everytime i do so it stops working as soon as i press fly now. if i play using DX10 preview everything is fine except my AI traffic is all white. Can anyone help me fix this issue by either playing DX9 or fixing the issue with the AI traffic.

i am indeed, basically done exactly the same as what i had on windows 7, same install and everything just doesnt seem to want to work too well.

I just bought a new pc with windows 8.1. Downloaded the demo of fSX and it works with no tweaking. FS9 works good has a few bugs. Just can't get my DF727 working.

I ran the compatibility test program in windows 8.1 and that fixed it. It still crashes from time to time, but not often.
