So, I have put together most of the parts that I think will run at least FS9 good with all the essential add ons (weather,scenery,iFly, Level-D etc). I havn't decided what platform I am going to use since FSX steam version came out, but if I could run FSX or even P3D with this system, that would be great. This is my list. This will be my first build and I'm going to order the parts piece by piece. I am not a big time computer guy, I'm good with a hammer though:) I wanted to check with you guys here before I started wearing out the credit card. it will run fsx and p3d, as for the steam version, myself and others have noticed an increase in frame rates and performance. I have a couple of questions for you though, do you have peripherals. The motherboard has 6 USB ports. I am going to assume you have a usb mouse and keyboard (2 down) a usb printer (1 more ) yoke? (1 more) if you have or are planing other USB peripherals that leaves 2 to play with. I personally would look for a motherboard with 8 USB. That allows for expansion and growth.

That video card looks pretty weak. I'd strongly suggest a 750.

Hi Russell, sorry, I just saw your post. Yeah, I'm going to do the yoke and rudder pedals too .What about a usb hub? This is why I'm glad I checked with you guys.
