Hi everyone, I'm returning to Flight sims after about a 10 year hiatus and have decided that I would give joining this airline a try, but I've run into a little problem. I'm trying to Download the CRJ library from the fleet library here and for some reason it will not open and my PC flags it as a virus, any help with this issue would be appreciated as I want to learn to fly the proper equipment here so I can get better.

Google Chrome, I think I figured it out, I disabled my firewall and was able to get the downloads to work, now if I could just get ACARS to work, I'm all set

Thanks, I'll look into flying a little old school. Now I'm having the new problem of all my downloaded Libraries having no color and no panels in the virtual cockpit. is this due to me using the steam version??? if thats the case I might try to find a box version somewhere, this is the link to a screenshot of what I'm talking about http://imgur.com/o4VT5Si,1BppaAY I got the 737 fleet with no problem, it's just the CRJ and 757 ones that don't appear to be working properly

Here are some tips from the help desk that may help:

Here is a quick procedure for installing/troubleshooting the ACARS program.

To install the ACARS software (you must be logged in as the administrator)

1. Turn off all antivirus and antispyware software on your system.
2. Uninstall ACARS from your control panel "Add/Remove Software" if you unsuccessfully tried to install it.
3. Download and run the Registry Fixer (as an Administrator) from our Fleet Library to restore your registry pointers to Microsoft Flight Sim.
4. Reboot your computer and again, turn off all antivirus and antispyware software on your system.
5. Download the new ACARS from the Fleet Library and run the install ( as an Administrator).
6. Now you can re-enable your antivirus and antispyware software on your system.

Also, please turn off all software you have running before you go flying (this includes Skype, MS messenger, antivirus, anti-malware, video camera software, etc as they might interfere with your flying software and ACARS

If you still encounter problems, please give the following a try as well:

1. Create a separate folder on the C:\ drive for flight simulator programs like C:\FSX or something like that and install FSX, ACARS, vPilot, etc in that folder.
2. Make sure that all antivirus, antimalware, etc is disabled before downloading or installing any new flying software.
3. Check and make sure that Windows Firewall passes data thru for FSX, FS2004, ACARS, vPilot, Ivap (IVAO client), etc.

For most FSUIPC errors within ACARS you need to update your FSUIPC.

You can either do it by selecting it from within any fleet aircraft or ACARS during your install, or alone, or directly from here:

Version 4.xx for FSX and FSUIPC 3.xx for FS9

Your best bet is to delete the FSUI.DLL and FSUIPC.DLL from your MODULES folder first, then install FSUIPC again, reboot.
