Because this flight is not flown every day by Delta, its presence in the schedule may be spotty at times, even when the real world flight is valid. We're investigating further but I wanted to be sure pilots are able to fly it.

If you search in the DVH schedule, you'll find DVH 5909 Leg 1 MAD-ATL in a B763. I'll keep this flight present until we work out the kinks. We always wanna be by your side....

I added both. MAD to ATL and MAD to JFK. Still a system glitch with our schedule. In the DVH schedule database.

This isn't the only glitch in the schedule. Some flights may exist for us, but use different equipment than it's actual counterpart (Ex. DAL473 leg 2 from RJAA-RCTP, it uses the 767-300 in real life, but it is still listed as A330-300 in the schedule). The KLM flights are another example; some of the A330-300 flights are operated by A330-200, and some of the 777-200 flights are operated by 777-300. There are even a few flights that don't appear in the schedule at all despite being Delta codeshares or Delta flights! An example would be CZ399/300, which is ZGGG-KJFK and back respectively, which is still a Delta codeshare (DL7751/7750 respectively). Finally, there are some flights that already exist, but use different flight numbers compared to the actual flight. Example: DL48 from KJFK-EHAM, which is listed as DL475 on the schedule.

My point is, the schedule frequently glitches so that it does not match RW Delta schedule. I can understand some of the Asian flights having problems due to time zone differences, but for U.S and some European flights, this is a problem that needs to be fixed.

Our schedule access to the database isn't perfect. It occurs at 2AM or so each day and grabs all the flights for that day. The subscription is updated every quarter. Some airlines change out aircraft and so we don't see that in the schedule until the next quarterly cycle. I'm not sure why some codeshares are not showing up. If you'd like a charter feel free to request one via the help desk. Although not perfect, the system is quite remarkable.

As far as fixing problems, there are quite a lot that need to be fixed. We try to get to the big ones as soon as we can. Some are lower priority. If all we did was chase problems there would be no new accomplishments or historical fights added. Schedule glitches or some codeshares not showing up are issues that need to be looked into but no high on my list. Email me a specific list of flights and codeshare flights, and I'll see what I can do.
