Its not really a big deal but i want to know why I always get these comments on my flight reviews and i don't understand why or how, i file my sids and stars using acars so I would think it would be correct. Can anyone explain so I can understand a little better

The filed route you put in ACARS (or put in my the dispatcher) sometimes does not exactly match the actual flight you fly. Sometimes this is due to a pilot landing or departing from a runway that doesn't match or flying a STAR that is more closely associated with a different STAR than the one filed. Sometimes there are hiccups too with the system.

For normal flights, I wouldn't worry about it. There are too may STARs and SIDs in the system for someone to go in and correct. You're not going to have a flight report rejected based on what SID or STAR you fly. The flags are mainly for check rides and flight academy flights.

The reviewers leave the system flags which are automated in your flight report just to keep the pilot informed.

Also I have found that the SID/STARS are sometimes not updated even if ACARS says they are updated in the dropdown menu, but they are in the database and it will correct itself when you log the flight.
