Had one I didn't see in the ops manual....same call signs (flight numbers)

If I am flying on VATSIM and when requesting my clearance I am told that flt number was already in use...will it 'screw-up' the ACARS if I fly on VATSIM using a different flight number? (Without changing the Flt number on the ACARS interface-I just added it as a note in the comments that I operated on VATSIM as DALXYZ).

The flight numbers on ACARS and VATSIM are not interdependent.

Tim, I don't fly on VATSIM much, but when I do, I always use a different flight number than ACARS. I usually use my DVA pilot ID (changing the DVA to DAL) on VATSIM and the flight number for the route in ACARS.

They aren't interdependent; you can fly on VATSIM with a Virgin Australia callsign on a Delta flight.

You could also put an "A" at the end of the callsign, and refer to yourself as "Delta XXX Alpha"
