Last night I completed a flight from PHNL (Honolulu) to NFFN (Fiji). Flight planning both from the DeltaVA website and via FSPX indicated an approximate 2700nm flight. Upon completion of the flight, the approval email showed a distance of 3176nm which is on the edge of the range for a 737-800.

Both. Your logbook is in whatever units you select, the email is in statute miles.
