Suddenly the IAS drops to 0kts. Anybody else has this issue (FS9)?
It happens from time to time. It seems to have to do with external weather engines. It happened with FS Metar and with AS6.5 as well.
When I was training for my B738 checkride with the fleet 738 I had AS6.5 on. It was summer weather, alt 6000ft and no clouds.
And always at the same place the IAS dropped to 0kts, which made the AT go crazy. I set FS to use TAS and everything was OK.
And yes, I had pitot heath on (if that actually does anything in FS9).
It also doesn't matter which aircraft I use: PMDG 738 (screenshot), FT A320, FT C208, stock C208...
So here I disconnect AT and waited until the IAS came back, which here was a few seconds later.
Vacuum bubbles? Air pockets?
Using another AS WX file solves this.

It happens to me also in my Aerosim L-1011. On FS9. All heats are on....It does it randomly.. On climbout, during cruise, even on approach it has done it. It has been doing this for over a year now.. Drops to 0 for about 8 seconds then comes back up. If I am not watching it to pull the throttles back when it happens, the A/T will drive my speed up.. I have not been able to find the problem.. If I can remember back T/S'ing it, It did it without any add ons.. No ACARS..No Active Sky, etc.. it still did it just running FS9 and my 1011...
