Hello everyone. I'd like to ask and see if anyone knows what do to (or where to start at least) with a little issue I've been having

So I've always used Squawkbox as my VATSIM application. I just recently got back into FS (about 2 months ago) and have moved to FSX from FS9. I want to move to vPilot as well. I have downloaded vPilot, but when I try to open it, I get an error message saying I have the wrong simconnect version (or don't have the newest one installed, i forget). I'm aware that this can be determined though which SP version you have in FSX. However even that is something I'm having trouble figuring out. So what I'm trying to say is, how can I see which SP I have, after which how can I download the correct simconnect?
Any help is much appreciated! Thank you all so much!

It looks like I don't have SP1 or SP2 installed. However, it's recommended that I install those with a clean slate (no add-ons) and I already have some add-ons installed like AI, updated runways at a few airports, etc. Not sure if I should go ahead and try to download SP1 anyways. Also, this is on a laptop unfortunately, so space is a factor.

Hard to say but I really don't think it's wise to be running FSX without the service packs installed. Why not save your folders with your AI and updated runways into a TEMP on your desktop, then reinstall FSX with the SP1 and 2. After this replace your temp folders to the new FSX and you're ready to go.

Yeah I guess the FSX version I have didn't include any of them. I guess I can try and give it a shot!
