Hi, I am new to DVA and in the 737 program. I have done numerous searches on this topic, but I can't find an answer:
Reference ACARS Panel Coniguration Page 11
Do I need to add the ACARS Gauge to the iFly373 Panel in order to use the DVA ACARS System? Does anyone have one already configured?
Thanks!

I forgot to add I am using iFly737 for Flight Simulator 2004 (if it matters).

No Jay. I don't believe so. I use ACARS fine with the iFly 737 but in FSX. I can't imagine it would be different for FS2004.
You can edit the panel.cfg to add the acars gauge but it isn't necessary or required. Some fleet installers come with it installed.

What Andrew said. All the gauge does is give you a visual status of ACARS. Just use ACARS as normal for any plane.

Thanks. I used the iFly737 on a short flight this morning. ACARS logged it fine.
I was overweight and out of balance. I managed to fly and land at my destination somehow, but it wasn't pretty. I used the iFly weight & fuel manager, but it did not transfer to my plane for some reason. I still need to read the iFly manual
Oh well, thanks for the responses!

The iFly is complex, but rewarding! Take the time to get to know it and she'll give you lots of good flights.
