I know there are other DVA pilots waiting to take the jump to Windows 10 so I thought I would share my experience with upgrading to Windows 10. I was a little nervous about upgrading but I really loathed Windows 8.1. I upgraded to Windows 10 and have been testing out FXS-SE for a few days now. I haven't had any issues so far. I just flew a flight from KATL to KMSY using FSX-SE on Windows 10 / ACARS / Vpilot /. Everything ran smooth and I didn't experience any errors or lag.
I upgraded Windows to version 10, then upgraded my video driver, then uninstalled and re-installed FSX-SE. No problems at all. Loving it so far!

| I did the upgrade to Windows 10 a few weeks ago. Works pretty well. One or two minor issues, but nothing I havent been able to solve.

On Windows 10 here as well - direct upgrade, with FSX and FSX-SE in place, everything works great! (the only thing was some compatibility issue with Aivlasoft EFB which I worked around)

I also upgraded to Windows 10. I am flying with P3D with no problems. Only hiccups were with Quality Wings 757 which needed a font that W-10 didn't retain but the WQ forum had a link to the right font and everything works fine. The other hiccup was with vpilot which wouldn't let me calibrate mike but worked fine without calibration.

I think it may be the fact that I'm running it on Parallels V10. I'll upgrade to V11 in a couple weeks and see how it works. Luckily it's working for everyone else

It is the reinstall FSX part that has me concerned....like many on here, I have a ton of add-ons that would take forever to re-install. I have backed up the add on scenery folders but its the aircraft that could be an issue.

Well, no luck in re-installation because whenever I enable my GT820M driver, Windows freezes before going to a BSOD. I'll come back to flying, but under an Intel GPU.

Darren, I know for my laptop to make a few things work with other programs (not for FS, everything worked fine) I had to rollback my driver to solve a few issues after updating it to the W10 update...
