After an outstanding check ride, scoring 120 of 130 possible points, Alaa Raid has joined the hard core club of real pilots with his DC-6 rating! Please join me in congratulating Alaa on this fine achievement!
For those of you that don't know, this CR requires the pilot to not use an FMC or GPS and to back-track a VOR to an intersection. This is not easy but is classic old school flying. Alaa did this perfectly and hit the intersection closer than anyone so far!
