I know I saw something about this a few months ago. I was wondering if we are going to be able to offer a P-3 and above class in the near future?

Yeah, man! Europe seems to have the monopoly on P3 ratings. Canadian Xpress will soon offer P3, though, so there will be a North American option. I've heard from friends who obtained their P3 in Europe that the learning curve was a bit steep, given the ICAO/FAA divergence.
