One of Northwest's acquisitions was indirectly Hughes Airwest who merged to become Republic Airlines and eventually became NW. Hughes used in 1080 DC9, FS227 and 727 flights out of Boise and Phoenix among some other locations. Thanks to Brian Donaldson, we've added some of these flights which NW flew briefly before eventually abandoning. This is just a sampling but a part of Delta's rich deep history. No new airport but some are served by Delta today regularly and seasonally.

Any chance of adding some Hughes Airwest and/or Republic flights north/south through OR, WA and CA, including Klamath Falls (KLMT), my old home town where I was raised and went to high school? KLMT had DC-9 and F-27 service to/from Portland, Sacramento and San Francisco in the early '60s. I remember flying from San Francisco to Klamath when I left Navy boot camp in 1965 in a DC-9-30 I had almost the entire coach section to myself. Later timetables for Hughes Airwest can be found at http://www.departedflights.com/timetables.html It would be great to fly into Klamath, where my dad and stepdad, both WWII pilots, are buried.
