was wondering could this file be at the route of my problem with FSX, I kept getting fatal error messages soon after loading FSX at Imgine sim KCVG, using PMDG 747, however since I deleted the core file this seems to have stopped(for now at least), i managed to complete a full take off and landing without a hitch, also had ASN running aswell, I'm using windows 7 -64 bit, and would love to get a situation where i could have a reliable FSX.

Anyways to the point do you think the automationcore could have been the problem

that file is supposed to fix the crash bug, did you download it and install it? also keep in mind there is a fake one causing problems.

Well i did what the readme said, ie place it in the FSX root folder, the wierdest thing is i get decent frame rates and when it does run, it is a delight to fly, however you always know that a CTD is never too far away, and considering i enjoy doing longer flights, that is never a good thing

and sure enough tonight after a 6 hour flight from PANC to KCVG, it happened on touchdown, no prior warning, just thank you and goodnight, apart from that everything else ran like clockwork, could it be a problem with the IS scenery I have

I did look in event viewer and wondered if anyone can see from this what the problem might be?
