Hello my fellow DVA pilots. So I have great news, I acquired an old desktop yesterday. I am wanting to utilize this for my DVA flights instead of my old setup (laptop and Xbox controller) anyways I believe I am able to run fsx se pretty smoothly, I have Windows 7 installed right now along with an nvidia graphics card GE 7050 and an Intel processor (not sure how many processors) anyways quick question, I'm thinking of replacing the video card upgrading to the Nvidia GE 950 or something like that? Any recommendations on what do to? I'm also looking at continuing flying the aerosoft Airbus with this machine and also want to get better detailed aircraft.
I'm also wanting to get something decent as I want to do more simulation games such as euro truck simulator 2 and also do gta v and gta iv with it. But mainly I want to do flight simulation with this desktop. Any recommendations on upgrades and or products to get much appreciated

I have a 2 GB AMD Radeon 6670 card. I think it was $120 about 3 years ago. I use pricewatch.com as a reference for video card lowest prices.

so your preccessor is Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5400 Wolfdale Dual-Core 2.7 GHz LGA 775 65W BX80571E5400 Desktop Processor
says easily overclockable, FSX is CPU hungry so higher clock better performance, I would upgrade the CPU cooler before doing any overclock.
For instance my amd 8120 is stock 3.1 GHZ I overclocked to 4.2 GHZ and use a corsair H100I CLC water cooler and keeps my CPu around 97 F idle and 120F stressed.

Also I have had to back up a lot of files, from it (I got the computer from my grandma) anyways I backed up the files, planning on wiping the hdd. If I do that, will it automatically upgrade me to Windows 10? Hopefully not
