It gives me great pleasure to announce some changes to the DC-6 Propliners staff. Jim Daigneau, the DC-6 Assistant Chief Pilot, has been promoted to Chief Pilot. Jim is a real world Delta pilot who now flies 717's but has been rated in the 757, 767, and mighty 727 aircraft in the past. Jim has already jumped in feet first since joining staff and has been a great asset to pilots. He has completely rewritten the DC-6 manual which I'm working on editing hopefully to be published in the next few weeks.
Recently hired to fill the DC-6 Assistant Chief Pilot shoes is Michael Evans. Mike joined DVA in 2001 and served as DC-6 Chief Pilot in the past. In fact, Mike served as Chief Pilot for several programs. We're excited to see Mike has found time to return to staff back in the program he was instrumental in helping start up. Welcome back Mike and we look forward to all you and Jimmy have to offer. Mike has a 3 digit DVA number if that's saying anything about his length of history with us. If there was an old man emoticon I'd have used it here. 
Please join me in congratulating these gentlemen to our historical propliner DC-6 program!
I will return to the mighty 727 program since the DC-6 program is now in far more capable hands!
