I'm having trouble getting ACARS to work on my computer. I downloaded it a few days ago and after I had logged a flight, I flew a flight using ACARS with no problems. The next day, I downloaded the 738NG from the fleet library and when installing it, I chose to also install some FSUIPC, not really knowing what it was or what it did. Now every time I start FSX, I get an error message about third party software not being compatible and I have to choose not to run the software in order to fly. When trying to start the flight on ACARS, I get the following message in the picture. How can I go about fixing this? I've tried to locate where the FSUIPC was installed so I could uninstall it since that seems to be the source of the problem but I haven't been able to.

Nathan, are you using a PMDG 738 NGX? I think there are problems getting acars and this aircraft to work. I would check out the pilot center document library and look for configuration manual for 737NGX for fsx. It should be labeled as 737Ngx configuration or something to that effect. Sorry you're having problems brother.

I usually use the default 738 in a delta skin, I was using the 738NG that is included as a download in the fleet library when the problem started, and the problem has carried over and still exists when I use the default 738.

No, the problem is you installed an old version of FSUIPC when you installed the Fleet 737NG. Just rerun the installer for the plane you flew a few days ago, and make sure the FSUIPC box is checked (nothing else, just that box). Then, in the future, never check that box unless it does it for you (for any plane whatsoever). It only checks itself when it's a newer version, and it is correct about that.

My bad Nathan, I was only able to read half of your post. (was checking it from my mobile phone) Anyways yes, hopefully you are able to get the FSUIPC figured out. I believe the current version is 4.932? At least that's what mine says. Anyways welcome aboard.
