I have been working some dual and triple monitor configurations using NVidia's surround technology. The sweet spot seems to be three monitors from a positioning perspective given the center of the cockpit won't be right in between a dual-monitor setup. However on a three monitor view the ratio between horizontal and vertical gets to be too much and the zoom is adversely affected. Anyway I am curious as to the learnings others have found that are doing this. Also I use P3Dv3 w/ CaptainSim and PMDG aircraft.

Ok so I have you could say YEARS of experience with Multi Monitors.
I started back in 2002 with a dual monitor setup, and decided to go one on TOP and one on Bottom, I couldnt stand looking through the small outside window and wanted a full outside display,
This was circa 2011 when received my amd 5830 and had 3 displays, used 2 for outside and a wide view and a bottom display for my gauges, This was my posky 757 with 737 gauge pack.
for the top 2 to QUELL the center bezel in the middle, was undock the main view and shrink it so the center would be to the right, so landing i was looking centerline 2 inches to the right of the bezel.
circa 2012 I added a touchscreen android FMC, using airdisplay, see more about that here : https://www.deltava.org/thread.do?id=0x1bed4
This was also when I first purchased the CS757 and it all started here.....
added my old monitor via DVI splitter for my f/o
Circa 2013 upgraded to amd 7870 GHZ which allowed 4 displays, Added another 23 " top display to make eyefinity 3x1 + 1 extended display, This Increased my sim experience 100 fold.
Now able to see a Wide outside view and still have my gauges on bottom panel. BTW used FSpanel studio to edit the CS757 panel to a custom MIP,
Circa 2015 added a Dualhead2go Matrox That takes one display output to 2 monitors , This gave me 2 descrete lower displays, that I now could put a seperate Mip screen on.
This allowed me to create a real to size and order MIP for my 757 sim. but they acted as one monitor.
Circa 2016 my dualhead2go died, and 5% juice spilled on my open top pc, causing me to upgrade my pc. now with 4790k and r9 390 8GB which allows 5 native displays, and a HUGE performance increase!
Now this is the current state of sim, using eyefinity for top 3 displays, and 2 lower panels for seperate displays for my 757 MIP.
Wanted to show you whats possible and in my experience to help you, If you need any help please ask.

Looks like you've got a lot invested. The path I am going doing is fairly simple, just three monitors wide with the VC across 3. I totally get the immersion factor when you have that ultra wide view, it really does convince your brain you're there. I was skeptical but I certainly believe it now.
Sometime in June when the Geforce 1080 comes out I'll make the move to 3.
Nice yoke, that must've costed a pretty penny.

Thanks Got it for 2/3 price used from a fellow cockpit builder who has a 767 sim that got 2 dual linked RW yokes to replace.
The 1070 1080 will use SMP that will flatten the image and remove the warping of wide views.

The new GeForce cards seem too good to be true: price, performance, features. Something doesn't seem right... but I'll still dive in anyway, haha.
I like the idea of the floor-based yokes. I briefly tried the Saitek yoke but did not like it clamped to my desk.

The ones they demoed are the highest performance ones. They will most likely have a slightly lower spec version.

I'd hate to pay our electric bill!!! lol
Looks really nice, curious if they make a over head projector that could do curved screen?? Betting that is in the near future and that will take simulation to a whole new level.
