Yesterday I was logging my first flights on the ACARS. Flying B738s here and there; everything was fine.
Today, I get on FS9, and I load up all my software to do two more flights. SquawkBox, VAT-Spy, and the DVA ACARS up and running. Then I go to the aircraft selection screen (because I'm not flying from KSEA to KLAX in a Cessna) to pick the B738, and all of a sudden it doesn't appear. I had another addon aircraft installed; a B377. That didn't appear, too. The DVA ERJ-170 doesn't load now, too, and it was working fine when I did a short flight from KPDX to KSEA. The only thing that does load is the Ship 41 livery for the DC-3 (and the freeware iFly 747-400).
Before posting this, I tried a full reinstall of FS9. Still no changes as of now.
Could I get some assistance with this? Flying for a VA and over VATSIM are both new and exciting experiences for me, and I don't want some annoying bug to end the fun after two days.
By the way...
Last night, during my last flight that evening, my controls stopped responding for some reason. I had to attempt to land the plane using nothing but the AP, which definitely did not work out well. I'm not sure if this might have to do with my current issue, but it might help.

Hey James,
That is a real bummer on this situation. I am not too familiar with FS9 but have you tried seeing if the aircraft is listed under the manufacturers name when selecting the aircraft. For example if a Aerosoft Airbus or PMDG was not showing up, is there an option to view by who made the aircraft?
Also I am not sure if you're familiar in going into the files on the hard drive. Sometimes I have to install aircraft this way on my hard drive, for example
C:steam, fsx, aircraft or airplanes and then I have to add it in manually. most pay ware aircraft though usually uses an installer which you don't have to install manually. Hooefully I didn't confuse you. Let us know if you need further assistance.!

Hey James,
This is really somewhat strange. I am also a FS9-Dinasaur and have experienced several problems, but not this one.
The only idea which is coming to my mind is that the fltsim-entries for the different liveries inside the aircraft.cfg-files are not continuous. For example, if you have an entry fltsim.0 and the next one is fltsim.2 and so on with a missing entry fltsim.1 FS9 will simply not "see" everything after fltsim.0. This might cause the problem that several aircraft are not showing up.
To fix this you should download Flusifix here: http://www.wolfgang-picheta.de/flusifix_en.htm
It is a must have!!! Under the aircraft.cfg - menue start the liverie-check and let Flusifix do the renumering if neccessary.
Maybe this solves your problem, but I am not really sure. Good luck!

Make sure you dont have kb3086255 from windows update installed, This update has broken several older games including fs9 try this first. go to windows update, and check history to see if its installed. if so uninstall it.

Yup. They all match.

Tried that; still no change.

I checked the aircraft.cfg files; they all check out.
Also, I can't use Flusifix; I know no German.

I'm using Windows 10. That update doesn't even apply for me, so...
Anyone else got any ideas?

You can use Flusifix - it is in English, too. Click on the UnionJack on the website!

I'm unable to locate it.
(Minor edit) I doubt it would make a difference, anyway. The aircraft.cfg files for every plane are okay, and I doubt that would be the cause of the aircraft not working one evening then breaking the next morning.

...I did absolutely nothing, and suddenly the aircraft are showing up again.
The only thing that has changed between when the thread was started and today was that I had a held flight report resolved.
Does having a flight report held influence whether DVA aircraft load or not?
